510 Fun and Free Blog

It’s Summer, Get Wet | June 14, 2010

As someone who was practically raised in the water is hurts my heart to find that there are not that many places to swim for free in the East Bay.  I mean we call my dad the Aquaman and my mom lives on Lake Oroville, so I love to swim.  East Bay Regional Park District swimming holes are great and I believe one of the reasons they are so great is because they charge admission. But there are 3 in the 510 that are Free! In Livermore, Del Valle is open daily starting Monday 6/14 and has lifeguards on duty.
